Pattern, texture, colour and form are all captured here thanks to light. Photography means 'painting with light' and, while it may be a stretch for some to call it art, I always think of it as Artography®.

To capture an image, fixed in a certain light and time that may never be repeated, has an almost magical feel. To be able to share that moment with many others, so that they can see what you saw, as you saw it, is something that the internet makes possible.

Some people will like images that others can't see the point of. It's the same with music, so I certainly wouldn't expect any one person to like everything that I do. As you will see by browsing through the site, the work is predominantly related to what man has made.

These images are intended to give 'impact', which is why they are so large. Six or seven square feet of canvas says a lot, so choose wisely what you wish to say. .

The canvas is Canson Infinity 390 gsm, the inks are Epson UltraChrome and are good for 75 years (unless you hang in direct sunlight), a protective liquid laminate coating is added and the box frames are excellent quality and built to last.

The images are what they are. I hope you find some of them beautiful and, if you do, that's a contribution made by you, as the beholder.
